With this Venezia Shawl knitting pattern, you can knit a lace piece that will make any woman happy. Knitting patterns are super cool because they can be easily customized by the knitter. You can adapt the knitting pattern to fit the person you're making it for or you can change some of the details of the piece to make it perfect for your next knitting project. What I like about this pattern is that it is easy enough for beginner knitters and those who don't know how to read knitting charts very well. I hope that you're able to create your own version of the Venezia Shawl so that you can share it with us when you are finished with it.

I knit my first Bom Shawl in 2015 when I was pregnant with my third son. My son was due in February and we have a long, cold Norwegian winter. So, I knew I needed a very warm shawl for the waiting time before his arrival. A Bom Shawl by Anniken Allis seemed like the perfect choice for me as it would keep me occupied during the winter months ahead. I also wanted to knit something beautiful and intricate, but still accessible.
