Sleep tight! Baby Blankets with Free Crochet Patterns

I'm a big fan of the blanket on the front of this post, it's from a client. I usually crochet an extra blanket on the front but I wanted to create a smaller blanket for a friend's birthday. This is a pattern from the Lishy Blanket , it's great for beginners, but I think it's a bit hard to make a bigger one for a friend. I won't put a link as I don't have the pattern, but I'll try to add it later. Here are the finished products.

Sea of Dreams Baby Blanket Free Knitting Pattern

This is a very easy to make blanket. I love the way it turned out. I was worried that the waves on the side would be too much, but they aren't. The yarn I used was very soft and it has a nice sheen to it. As you can see I used three colors, but it can be made from two as well. I love the way this yarn is made, it is also very forgiving. It doesn't have a bunch of knots in it like some yarn does. This is a very affordable yarn and I love the way it feels. I would suggest a size 8 needle for

Sweet Granny Baby Blanket Free Crochet Pattern

I love granny squares, they are simple to make and have many possibilities. I wanted to make a blanket that would be versatile for the crocheter. The blanket is made up of two different size granny squares. The larger granny squares are great for a throw or lap blanket, while the smaller granny squares are great for a baby blanket. The pattern gives you the option to either crochet into the chain spaces or leave them open. Leave the chain spaces open if you want to make a baby blanket, chain spaces will be easier for the baby to grab. If you want to make a throw blanket,
