I'm a big fan of the blanket on the front of this post, it's from a client. I usually crochet an extra blanket on the front but I wanted to create a smaller blanket for a friend's birthday. This is a pattern from the Lishy Blanket , it's great for beginners, but I think it's a bit hard to make a bigger one for a friend. I won't put a link as I don't have the pattern, but I'll try to add it later. Here are the finished products.

Sea of Dreams Baby Blanket Free Knitting Pattern

This is a very easy to make blanket. I love the way it turned out. I was worried that the waves on the side would be too much, but they aren't. The yarn I used was very soft and it has a nice sheen to it. As you can see I used three colors, but it can be made from two as well. I love the way this yarn is made, it is also very forgiving. It doesn't have a bunch of knots in it like some yarn does. This is a very affordable yarn and I love the way it feels.

As someone who’s recently taken up crocheting, I must share my delightful experience with a crochet guide ring I discovered through this video. It’s been such a help! This little tool has made my crocheting so much easier, especially with the tricky patterns. I wasn’t sure about it at first, but it really has made a big difference, making everything smoother and more fun. If you’re new to crocheting or have been doing it for a while, you should definitely check it out. The video shows you how it works, and there’s a link there if you want to get one for yourself. I honestly think it’s made a huge difference in my crocheting!
